We are looking for a Team Assistant to join our Diversity and Inclusion team.

The role


As the Team Assistant, you will directly support the Diversity and Inclusion team to realise the goal of a more diverse and inclusive engineering industry.


You will do this by supporting the team administratively, in the coordination of its work and in the delivery, management and assessment of its activities.

You will help to ensure we are as impactful as we can possibly be in the delivery of our diversity and inclusion programmes.


Diversity and inclusion sit at the heart of the Academy's strategy and this role provides an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to help achieve a step change in inclusion in engineering while working closely with a dedicated and friendly team of diversity professionals.

Among other things, you will develop and maintain coordination documents and systems for the team, support the delivery of our events and organise and arrange meetings and logistics.

The ideal applicant will be looking for a career where they can help others - specifically with an interest in and commitment to diversity and inclusion.

With an eye for detail and excellent organisation skills, you will have a broad knowledge of administration systems, procedures and processes, and a willingness to help the team deliver their projects by providing crucial administrative support.


You will work with a range of stakeholders, both internal and external, so should be confident communicator, both orally and in writing.

You should have experience of working on multiple concurrent projects with competing deadlines, with a focus on the continuous improvement of our processes and the projects we deliver.


You will have the opportunity to work on a broad range of projects with a variety of stakeholders, with plenty of room for development and learning new skills.

Location


Our light, spacious offices are based in a fantastic location in central London with views over St James's Park and close to the West End.

We operate hybrid, flexible working practices with a baseline 2 days a week in the office.
