Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a Science Technician for a new opportunity in an "outstanding" secondary school in Enfield.


This over-subscribed school is looking for a full time Science Technician to start immediately and the role will continue until July 2023.

The role could become permanent after that. They are also a school which offers in-house teacher training so this couldpotentially be available too.


The Head of Science is interested in meeting experienced Science Technicians or Science graduates who can be trained up by the school.


Located in a lovely part of Enfield, the school is well served by bus routes and has staff parking available for drivers.


Duties involved in the role will include, but not be limited to:

  • Ensure that staff and pupils are provided with high quality support and resources to support learning,
  • Managing the school Science resources on a day to day basis
  • Setting up Science experiments
  • Maintaining an appropriate health and safety culture at all times
  • Take a role in class based support for practical and IT based activities.
  • Maintain an up to date inventory of school Science resources
  • Organise preparation areas and store rooms

Requirements:


  • Science graduate.
  • Laboratory experience (essential)
  • CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible.
  • Legal right to work in the UK.
The salary at this school for this role is £80-90 per day, depending on experience.
