Description

Our client is one of the leading home builders in the UK. They are seeking a Labourer to join the team in Rye, East Sussex. As a Labourer, you will be responsible for assisting tradespeople and ensuring the smooth running of our construction site.

Responsibilities:

Assist tradespeople with tasks such as lifting and moving materials, and setting up and dismantling scaffolding
Keep the site clean and tidy, including sweeping and cleaning up debris
Load and unload building materials and equipment
Carry out minor repairs and maintenance tasks as required
Follow health and safety procedures and regulations at all times
Communicate effectively with site managers and other tradespeople

Requirements:

Previous experience as a Labourer on a construction site is desirable but not essential
Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
Ability to follow instructions and carry out tasks efficiently and safely
Strong focus on health and safety
Willingness to work flexible hours
