Warehouse Supervisor - Minworth, United Kingdom - We Staff
Description
We Staff are currently looking for a Warehouse Supervisor to work alongside our client in their warehouse based in the Minworth B35 area.
Main duties and responsibility include:
- Scanning of parcels using PDA
- Basic computer skills
- Parcel Segregation
- Stacking of pallets
- Wrapping of pallets
- Loading of vehicles
- Safe operating of manual MHE
- Access DA
- Ensuring daily safety checks are conducted thoroughly and company warehouse guidelines observed.
- Ensure all parcels/pallets are handled and transported securely and in line with company procedures,
- Work with staff to ensure the workplace environment is maintained to a high standard of cleanliness and tidiness and always complies with company and legislative standards.
- Ensuring all company safety and quality systems are followed and all relevant legislation complied with, raising concerns and reporting any incidents or suggestions to your line manager.
- Ensure all packaging waste is disposed of safely and in line with company processes, recycling wherever possible.
- Support and assist newly appointed or less experienced staff by providing training and guidance as appropriate.
- Any other duties that may be required from time to time for the smooth running of the Hub Operation.
- Undertake receipt and checking of incoming stock in line with company goods in process,
- Processes are completed as appropriate, and parts are correctly located within the warehouse.
- Undertake forklift truck duties as required (If licensed)
- Ensuring daily safety checks are conducted thoroughly and company guidelines observed.
- Provide a professional, courteous and efficient service to all customers, ensuring the warehouse process is followed accurately.
- Work with team colleagues to ensure the workplace environment is maintained to a high standard of cleanliness and tidiness and always complies with company and legislative standards.
- Take reasonable care of both your own health and safety and that of others who may be affected by your acts or omissions,
- Ensuring all company safety and quality systems are followed and all relevant legislation complied with, raising concerns and reporting any incidents or suggestions to your line manager.
- Ensure all packaging waste is disposed of safely and in line with company processes, recycling wherever possible.
- Always create a good impression of Rico and adhere to company rules and Standards.
- Any other duties that may be required from time to time for the smooth running of the business.
