HR Business Partner - 12-month fixed term contract

Salary - up to £60K dependant on experience plus Car Allowance

Location:
Hybrid working covering the Gloucester (1 day/ week) & Sheffield office (1day/ fortnight)


This is a great opportunity for an experienced HR Business Partner (People Business Partner) to join a highly successful Business Services Company that is expanding rapidly through acquisition and organic growth.

This role is based remotely but will require1 day a week based out of the Gloucester office and 1 day a fortnight working in the Sheffield office.

The role is initially offered as a 12-month fixed term contract.


As People Business Partner, you will partner with the Corporate Functions and HR Shared Service Centre based out of the Gloucester office and with a recently acquired business based out of Sheffield.

You will be a key player within the HR team, working closelywith key stakeholders and the wider HR Team to develop, shape and deliver HR plans and solutions.


What will I be doing as a People Business Partner?

  • Taking ownership of the HR Shared Services Centre known as the 'People Hub', you will have leadership responsibility for a HR Advisor and the People Hub Team Leader
  • You will also partner with the corporate functions in Gloucester and the employees working out of the Sheffield office.
  • You will build key strategic stakeholder relationships at exec and senior leader level.
  • You will work with relevant stakeholders to develop a strategic people management plan, including talent and succession planning, building capability, and driving performance for relevant functional areas
  • You will develop the reporting, display and monitoring of HR based KPI's for key stakeholders, including absence analysis, return to work interviews, labour attrition etc.
  • You will also ensure line managers are trained and coached in all aspects of their approach to people management, compliance, and development practices, working with our other HR Business Partners
  • You will support driving and delivering our equality, diversity and Inclusion goals.
  • You will also have the opportunity to get involved in HR Project work relating to organisational change as the business goes through ongoing growth and acquisition.

To be successful in the role of People Business Partner, you will.

  • Ideally CIPD L5 qualification or with equivalent experience
  • Possess previous experience of leading a HR Shared Services function
  • Experience of planning and executing organisational change programs
  • Experience of influencing and challenging Senior Level Managers & Exec team
  • Be a commercially focused HR professional demonstrating passion and excellent communication skills
  • Driven to achieve 'best practice' with continuous improvement mentality
  • Able to plan, prioritise and deliver at operational and strategic level
