Description

As a Domestic Violence specialist, you will work pro-actively with women, offering risk assessed, strength based, and needs led support.

You will work alongside each woman, throughout her journey, agreeing individual safety support plans as well as advocating on her behalf to achieve safety and autonomy.


You will provide a proactive service to women from Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic communities who have been assessed at being at risk of domestic violence and abuse (intimate partner and/or familial) to improve safety and reduce re-victimisation.

Juno Women's Aid is the largest domestic abuse organisation in Nottingham and one of the largest in the UK.

We work with women, children, and teens who have been affected by domestic abuse in
Ashfield, Broxtowe, Gedling, Nottingham City, and Rushcliffe.


We run a wide range of services including the 24-hour Nottingham and Nottinghamshire Freephone Domestic and Sexual Violence Helpline. This is where you can speak to one of our specialist trained female support workers 365 days a year.
