We at ASQ Education are looking to recruit a Learning Mentor to support the Pastoral & Cover Teams at an outstanding school in South West London.
The role is set to begin as soon as possible and will run the whole of the academic term.To be considered for this role you must have relative experience working within schools, colleges, HEIs or PRUs. Previous experience working as a Cover Supervisor would be preferred.
The school would also be open to applicants who are training to becometeachers in the future and want to gain valuable experience within the classroom.
The Role
The Cover Supervisor role allows you to be flexible but also requires resilience and an understanding of how to control a classroom.
The position is in a secondary school in South West London, within the Royal Borough of Kingston, and has cutting-edge facilitiesavailable to its staff & pupils.
This is a school that will value you for the role you perform; they will make sure you feel supported and confident upon starting.
As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a leading rolein helping to contribute to the daily learning experiences and overall student development.
To be considered for this role, you must be able to demonstrate:- Experience and knowledge of working as a Cover Supervisor within Secondary Schools and/or relevant experience working as part of a Pastoral Team (Essential)
- To understand and approach Pastoral duties with the appropriate attitude, resilience & duty of care
- Confident in classroom & behaviour management
- To own excellent organisational skills and to be flexible and resilient
- You must be approachable to pupils and colleagues alike to be a team player
