Description

To produce accurate, manufacturer standard accident repair quotations on all body repair enquiries within the business.

Negotiate repair costs with insurance companies and retail clients to achieve required levels of profit.
To help facilitate the efficient operation of the bodyshop through the avoidance of nonrevenue or diversionary activities by means of upsell estimating.
Receive customer enquiries and successfully convert these into bookings by effectively followingup all estimates issued to maintain a good conversion rate.
Manage new enquiries, bookings, insurance queries and supplementary requests for final repair costing.
Provide expert knowledge to customers and colleagues on all body repair enquiries.

Advise customers of precise and where appropriate, estimated costs of repairs and work to be undertaken. Advise on predicted completion times and collection arrangements.
Contact customers prior to visit to confirm booking and vehicle information, details of work to be carried out and method of payment (where appropriate). Ensure all warranty and other freeofcharge work has been identified and signed for by the customer. Ensure that customers fully understand the limits and conditions of such work and the effects of repair, especially on older vehicles.
Administer paperwork systems and control the flow of documentation to enable records and customer/vehicle details to be easily retrieved.

About You

:

Expert knowledge of modern vehicle construction and repair methods.
Previous Bodyshop knowledge required. Ability to communicate clearly and unambiguously and record all such interaction accurately. Current knowledge of manufacturer's warranty procedures and documentation. Ability to sell incremental products and assess further sales opportunities.
