Job summary
This post has been created to support both existing day-to day clinical sessions and the development of future clinical services, including migration to a PCN specific booking platform.
The successful applicant will be responsible for organizing and coordinating appointment rotas and any associated work such as dealing with appointment cancellations.
They will also provide high-level administration support to the PCN Manager and Leadership team management team.
This individual will be a key point of contact for staff, member practices and will be able to sign post queries to relevant individuals as appropriate.
The post holder will provide support in monitoring the progress of activity undertaken by the PCN and analyse and collate data for presentation to internal and external stakeholders.
This role involves providing high quality, comprehensive and effective administration skills across a wide variation of work.The post holder will need to be capable of independently travel across flexibly to meet the needs of the PCN leads and PCN Manager.
Main duties of the job
Purpose of the role
This role has a specific focus on providing proactive administration support for the PCN Manager, the PCN Leadership Team and PCN staff leads, specifically with clinical rota and appointment administration.
This role is new and it is envisaged that it will evolve with the continuing development of the PCN; therefore this is not an exhaustive list but is representative of the roles core activities.
They will be expected to have the ability to work both independently and as part of a team, managing their workload and working to deadlines.

Job responsibilities
Key responsibilities
Work with the PCN Manager to deliver high-level administration support
Providing IT support and liaising between the PCN and GPIT
Effectively managing appointment rotas for PCN staff
Managing the PCN MS Teams site
Maintaining the PCNs file management system
Collate activity reports from each service to demonstrate the work undertaken for their patients.
Undertake any ad hoc reporting as requested by the PCN Manager or members of the PCN leadership team
Format and distribute the PCN newsletter
Ability to compose and correct correspondence
Prepare, produce, review and circulate all documents required for meetings in a timely fashion and to a high standard.
Develop and maintain electronic systems and/or databases required for the role.

Experience
Essential
- Experience of working in a healthcare environment
- Experience of working in the NHS and undertaking clinical reporting
- Experienced in Clinical Systems SystmOne essential, Emis desirable
- Experience of working as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Experience of interpreting clinical data in a meaningful way
Desirable
- Experience of working with clinical coding
- Demonstrate an understanding of the importance of Data Quality in a GP practice environment
Qualifications
Essential
- Good standards of general education minimum of 4 GCSEs, at Grade 4 or a
