Housekeeping Manager
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the daily operations of the housekeeping department
- Develop and implement cleaning procedures and protocols to ensure high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
- Train, supervise, and evaluate housekeeping staff members
- Schedule and assign tasks to housekeeping staff to ensure efficient and effective cleaning operations
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with cleanliness standards
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, and order necessary items as needed
- Handle guest requests or complaints related to housekeeping services
- Collaborate with other departments, such as maintenance and front desk, to ensure smooth operations
- Monitor and control departmental expenses within budgetary guidelines
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a supervisory or managerial role in the housekeeping department
- Strong knowledge of cleaning procedures, chemicals, and equipment
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to effectively communicate with staff members, guests, and other departments
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
- Problemsolving skills to address any issues or challenges that may arise
- Flexibility to work weekends as needed
Salary:
£11.00 per hour
