Housekeeping Manager


Responsibilities:


  • Oversee and manage the daily operations of the housekeeping department
  • Develop and implement cleaning procedures and protocols to ensure high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
  • Train, supervise, and evaluate housekeeping staff members
  • Schedule and assign tasks to housekeeping staff to ensure efficient and effective cleaning operations
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with cleanliness standards
  • Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, and order necessary items as needed
  • Handle guest requests or complaints related to housekeeping services
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as maintenance and front desk, to ensure smooth operations
  • Monitor and control departmental expenses within budgetary guidelines

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a supervisory or managerial role in the housekeeping department
  • Strong knowledge of cleaning procedures, chemicals, and equipment
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to effectively communicate with staff members, guests, and other departments
  • Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
  • Problemsolving skills to address any issues or challenges that may arise
  • Flexibility to work weekends as needed

Salary:
£11.00 per hour
