Introduction:


The Active Lives programme delivers fun and engaging activities to people with learning disabilities and/ or autism in our day centre in Hove and other community settings (across Brighton & Hove).

We need enthusiastic individuals to join our Active Lives team working with the people we support and staff alike.


Brief outline of the role:

You will develop engaging and effective performance sessions to further develop our drama, dance and music offer.

Accompanied by a Grace Eyre Support Worker, you will be leading classes of up to 12 adults with a learning disability and/or autism who are keen to do more performances in the future.


We are looking for individuals who have capacity to work with us across the week (during the day) starting in September 2023.


You will be responsible for planning and delivering focused workshops and activities in Performance, Yoga, Dance, Drama and Music; for adults with a learning disability and/or autism.

You will develop engaging and effective performance sessions to further develop our performance offer.

Job Types:
Part-time, Freelance

Part-time hours: 8 per week


Salary:
£25.00 per hour
