LHH has exclusively partnered with a tech company in Brighton to recruit a Head of People and Culture.

This role sits on the senior leadership team and reports into the CEO -this is a great opportunity to embed culture globally for this fantastic organisation.


What you'll be doing:

  • Develop and execute a robust Culture Strategy that strengthens culture across all locations and enables every team member to feel fulfilled, appreciated and motivated to do the best work of their careers
  • Develop the best collaborative working practices that maximise the advantages of hybridworking to deliver exceptional results and maintain great life/ work balance for team members
  • Implement latest best practices and highimpact innovations in organisational culture, wellbeing and EDI to continue to build a positive and diverse workplace.
  • Lead the Culture and Operations team and ensure all team members are well supported, motivated and delivering on their inspiring goals and agreed KPIs.
  • Ensure there are robust HR tools and processes in place to fully support team members and give them a great working experience.
  • Carefully forecast and manage annual budgets for the Culture and Operations team, and put in place clear KPIs to clearly measure and improve the impact of our spend on team morale and performance.
  • Support leaders and line managers with all people and team challenges, and guide them to ensure that we are both compliant with employment law, and treat team members with utmost care and concern
  • Support all line managers to adopt best practice performance management i.e., personal development plans, regular 121 reviews, 360 feedback, regular team meetings and formal annual reviews
  • Develop and deliver training programs and career development plans that ensure all team members grow and develop their hard and soft skills
  • Build a powerful and positive 'recruiter brand' that acts as a beacon to attract great new people
  • Ensure physical working environments are positive, energizing, and enable all team members to do their best work
  • Be an active and vocal member of the Senior Leadership Team, challenging them to think differently, be braver and make better decisions for the company
  • Coach and support leaders and line managers across the business, helping them become more aware and skillful leaders

Experience:


  • CIPD Level 7 Qualified and Chartered Member of the CIPD
  • Experience working at Head of or Senior People, Culture or HR Manager level accountable for the entire employee experience
  • Broad HR knowledge covering all stages of employee lifecycle, and with specific experience in developing strong cultures and nurturing talent to achieve high performance
  • Ability to demonstrate deep learning and knowledge of a vast amount of relevant HR and employee relations experience
  • Experience working within a scale up or start up business, and used to the handson approach required in such organisations
  • Proven leadership and coaching abilities for leaders at all levels in an organisation
  • A strong team leader with experience in growing a team and developing team members
