As HMLR's Information Compliance Framework Manager, you will be instrumental in leading a programme of training, awareness, monitoring and reporting activities across the organisation, building upon and further embedding a strong culture of data managementand information compliance.


Excellent written and verbal communication is essential, as is the ability to build strong and meaningful working relationships with teams and colleagues across the organisation.

There will be opportunities to develop broader leadership skills and be supported in personal and professional skills development.

They operates a hybrid working model which includes both home and office-based working.

All staff are anchored to an office where a level of attendance is expected - actual time spent in offices will vary and is dependent on business need which may include,for example, attendance at essential face-to-face meetings.


Qualifications

  • Practitioner certificate (or equivalent) in Data Protection and/or Practitioner certificate (or equivalent) in FOI.

  • Experience of presenting to teams on data protection compliance to support upskilling.
  • Detailed knowledge of current data protection legislation and associated codes of practice.
  • Risk management experience, and the ability to identify and provide expert advice on the mitigation of risks.
