JA1170 - Electrical Installation Engineer

Location - York - UK wide travel/European travel

Salary - Up to £55K DOE

Type - Permanent/Full-time

Key Responsibilities:


  • You will be experienced in and have a proven track record of working on Industrial Electrical Installation, including but not limited to: Cable, Containment Systems, Control Panels, Cable Termination to Termination & Block Cable Diagrams, Support Structures,and Instrumentation.
  • You will be required to Read electrical schematics. Fault find and rectify faults during commissioning.
  • You will be part of our team, delivering projects across a varied range of sectors, and using a wide range of skills.
  • You will successfully manage projects from start to completion.
  • Liaise with customers to understand their needs and timescale, and work to deadlines and with the minimum of supervision.
  • You will ensure compliance with Health, Safety, Environmental, Quality and COSHH laws or regulations to make certain that all company Health and Safety policies, procedures are adhered to.
  • Reporting to the Management Team, you will carry out a range of assignments to help develop solutions and resolve issues on time and within budget according to established standards and solutions. You will assist in training a junior engineer.

Skills & Experience:


  • 2391 inspection and test qualified
th Edition qualified.

  • Experienced in Industrial Electrical Installation
  • Ability to read electrical schematics.
  • Having a knowledge of pumps/motors, information products and 3phase electrical systems are advantageous.
  • Full clean driving license.
  • Willing to travel in the UK and abroad.
