Reporting to the Head of Finance the Accounts Assistant will work in close partnership with the Finance team members and the Purchasing team.

Key responsibilities will include

  • Ensure that all purchase invoices are input into the finance system in a timely manner with a particular focus around month end
  • Make sure that invoices have relevant and valid purchase orders, confirming the details are correct and code ready for inputting into internal finance systems
  • Ensure GRN compliance on the finance system
  • Reconciliation of supplier accounts

Working Requirements:
This role is part time (22.5 hours per week) for an initial period of 2-3 months.

Working patterns can be can be spread over 3-5 days within the working week, such as school hours (Monday - Friday).

Requirements:

Essential

  • Good communication skills
  • Good attention to detail
  • Positive cando attitude
  • Selfstarter who is highly motivated
  • A Level educated or equivalent.
Desirable

  • Competent user of Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel.
  • Previous experience in a junior finance position
  • Experience using Microsoft Dynamics Business central
