Administration Officer - Live Streaming (Bromsgrove District and Redditch Borough Councils)

Grade 3 - £12.18 per hour

Casual Position


We are looking for enthusiastic Administration Officers - Live Streaming to work as part of the shared Democratic Service for Redditch Borough and Bromsgrove District Councils.

The Democratic Services team provides a professional and friendly service to elected Councillors across two district Councils. Prior experience in Democratic Services is not essential.

Availability to attend evening meetings will be essential as will be an ability to use video conferencing software such as Microsoft Teams.

Your main duties will be to live stream Council and Committee Meetings and publish to the internet.

You will assist the Senior Democratic Services Officer in providing an efficient support service and assist with the administration of council and committee meetings as related to set up and live streaming.

In order to carry out this position you will need to live stream meetings where required by Democratic Services. These meetings are mainly held on weekday evenings and there can be multiple evening meetings per week.

You will be required to test ICT set up at meetings and to create and maintain the Councils' YouTube schedules in respect of live streaming.

As this is a role requiring multiple devices and software you will need to have excellent IT skills. Full training will be provided.

Please be aware that you will mainly be working from home, and you must have a good wifi connection to carry out this role.
