    Regulatory Reporting Business Analyst - Investment Bank

    Sterlings, an Investment Bank based in the City of London, is seeking a Finance Business Analyst to join their team.

    The Business Analyst will work on Finance-specific projects across the Bank's Technology function, gathering requirements and compiling formal business requirements throughout the project lifecycle.

    The analyst will support Project Managers and business partners with SME and problem-solving skills, fostering positive relationships with Technology, Change Managers, and Business stakeholders.

    This role offers scope for progression and development, working on UK, EMEA, and internal projects.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Gather requirements and compile formal business requirements for Finance-specific projects
    • Support Project Managers and business partners with SME and problem-solving skills
    • Foster positive relationships with Technology, Change Managers, and Business stakeholders
    • Work on UK, EMEA, and internal projects

    Requirements:

    • Strong communication skills, both written and oral
    • Proven delivery track record and ownership of Finance and Data initiatives
    • Confidence to interact with senior managers
    • Business analysis experience in banking or consultancy
    • Understanding of the project lifecycle, including proposal, scope, requirements, and testing documentation
    • Experience with Regulatory Capital, Liquidity measurement (LCR, SA-CC), UK and EMEA financial regulations (EMIR, MiFID, MiFIR, IFRS9, BCBS239)
    • Familiarity with financial reporting, month-end processes, P&L accounting, financial adjustments
    • Knowledge of Subledger and General Ledger applications beneficial
    • Experience with financial investment products such as Vanilla IR & CR
