About Our Client:
Sales Administrator Responsibilities & Duties
- First point of contact for sub contract quoting & sales.
- Production of competitive and profitable quotations from customer purchase orders as necessary in line with company margin requirements for new work and repeat work.
- Maintenance of the quotes database to ensure accurate works orders in line with drawings and requirements.
- Working closely with the Production Manager and Quality Engineer on quality issues and adjusting quotes where necessary.
- Responsibility for reviewing and maintaining pricing and accuracy of all quotes on the system.
- Working closely with purchasing to ensure that material price increases are all reflected in quotations.
- Awareness of stock management and the prices at which internal components go into stock.
- Job Costing reviews with Finance Manager.
- Receiving customer drawings and quoting, querying and clarifying as necessary.
The Successful Applicant:
This Sales Administrator role will require the following experience and characteristics for the right individual;
- Prior experience processing and managing quotes of engineering/manufacturing of machinery
- Able to read and make sense of technical drawings to be reflecting in pricing
- Experience in pricing and working with margins
- The ability to Communicate with internal staff and with customers.
- Managing time effectively and efficiently to meet required deadlines.
- Prior experience working with purchasing, procurement, buying or the sales team would be great
