Engineering Assistant
Maidstone
£12.50ph (equivalent to £26,000pa) + Great Benefits
Monday to Friday 9am-6pm
(This role is being offered on a temp to perm basis)

Are you an Engineering graduate looking to join an exciting growing business?

Our client based in Maidstone is a specialist manufacturer who is currently looking for an Engineering Assistant to join their growing business.

If you hold a degree or diploma in Engineering, enjoy solving problems, and can work as part of a team, then this is the role for you

This role would suit someone with a recent degree or diploma in Engineering and keen to gain experience in a production environment.

Responsibilities include:

Conducting routine maintenance of machinery and equipment
Troubleshooting and diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues to identify root causes and implement effective solutions
Performing preventative maintenance tasks to minimize equipment
Responding promptly to equipment breakdowns and emergencies, providing timely and effective solutions
Sourcing and ordering spare parts and equipment as needed
Degree or diploma in Engineering
Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Detailorientated with a focus on precision and accuracy
Knowledge of Office 36
High level of Mathematics
