We are pleased to be recruiting for this Excellent position as a Finance Officer for a very successful Housing associations in the UK.

This is on a temporary basis with the option to go permanent depending on experience. This role is located in London. Paying £15.61 p/h PAYE

Finance Teams timetable and ensure that the monthly income reconciliations are completed and authorised by the Banking Supervisor.

Working within the exceptionally high-volume transnational Banking Team, you will
provide a high-quality service with an outstanding level of customer care & support
while ensuring that all accounting records are maintained up to date and reconciled
accurately. You will also perform daily, weekly and monthly processes to a high
standard within timescales ensuring that process controls are adhered to.

Key responsibilities/ deliverable

  • To be responsible for all Group bank accounts ensuring they are up to date and
reconciled in line with the Finance Team's timetable and ensure that the monthly
income reconciliations are completed and authorised by the Banking Supervisor.
To raise monthly/periodic/ad-hoc external sales invoices as requested and ensure
these are accurately posted on the nominal ledger accounts. Review the aged debtors
on a monthly basis and assist with credit control duties as an when required

  • The transmission of BACS/CHAPS files in accordance with the group's agreed payment
dates, our contractual obligations and BACS timetable.

  • To maintain Supplier/Debtor/Landlord specific data within our accounting system,
including name, address, bank details, contact information etc. ensuring bank details
are verbally confirmed with the supplier

  • To be responsible for the preparation and calculation of monthly payment schedules
for Private Sector Leasing (PSL) and HAMA Landlords, ensuring that all administration
fees, maintenance, repairs, and other recharges are deducted from landlord rent
payments.

  • To be responsible for the deducting of and recording of Non-Resident Landlord tax
deductions and the completion of the Non-Resident Landlord Inland Revenue Returns
as per HM Revenue & Customs timescales.

  • To support other team members as and when required by the Banking Supervisor.
  • To follow the Group's fraud policy immediately on discovery of a potential banking
fraud.
