Nursery Practitioner- Full Time - Cardiff, United Kingdom - Button's and Bow's Day Nursery Ltd

We are looking for a fun, loyal, reliable and committed individual to join our small independent team at Button's & Bow's Day Nursery Ltd.

It is desirable but not essential that you hold a full driving licence of two years or more (with no endorsements) a fully enhanced DBS in the child sector and valid certificates in pediatric first aid, food safety and safeguarding

Duties will include but are not restricted to;

• Undertaking chaperone duties
• Assisting with planning, setting up, leading and assisting in activities
• Updating child records and liaising with parents/carers/partners
• Preparing/serving snacks in line with our Gold+ Healthy Snack award
• General housekeeping, risk assessing

You will be employed on a
Anualised contract of a minimum of 37.5 hours a week to be worked Monday to Friday between 8 am to 6 pm, and 30 hours per week in the holidays.

The position is salaried in reference to qualification with annual leave (pro-rata 5.6 weeks) to be taken during school holidays/periods of shutdown.
