Events Co-ordinator

Salary from £29,935 to £33,104 pa inclusive with potential to progress to £35,441 pa inclusive of London allowance

This is a fixed term appointment for three years
***The LSE Law School is a world-renowned law faculty and vibrant intellectual community of staff and students. Our events programme is one of the largest of any law school in the world with over 150 events per year, ranging from high profile public speakers, research seminars, conferences to student socials.


This role is a key member of the Events Team working on the planning and delivery of this events programme.

The post holder will work alongside colleagues to plan and promote events, and will attend allocated events to ensure their smooth running.


The role involves evening work of two to three nights per week during term time, with time taken back in lieu and more flexibility given over the vacation periods.

During term time it is a predominantly campus-based role (at least three days per week, however flexibility will be required).


  • Experience of organising events.
  • An ability to work with colleagues to agree a work plan and prioritise own tasks within that plan to meet multiple deadlines.
  • Strong written and proofreading skills.
  • A flexible, helpful and positive approach.
