Role:
Assistant Cook

SALARY:
£10.65 per hour

As the Assistant Cook at Bramble Lodge, you must be a passionate and caring person who is able to work with our dining team to produce nutritious meals for our residents.

You must have a sympathetic understanding of the nutritional requirements of elderly people.

Key Responsibilities:

Implement and monitor the daily routines to ensure the smooth running of the kitchen, liaising with the management team.
Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene. Ensuring a cleaning routine, keeping with all environmental health requirements is devised and maintained.
Assist in preparing menus in accordance with the availability of food and the wishes of residents, ensuring that well balance, nutritional, and appealing are prepared.
Ensure that food ordered is stored in accordance with legal requirements.
Cater for special diets or requests as appropriate.
Ensure the necessary records are completed correctly.
