Gems Agency Ltd has a 30-year history of placing multi award-winning crew on international film and television productions, Gems has secured an outstanding reputation as one of the UK's leading agencies for Heads of Department and Crew in the Film & TV Industry.

CANDIDATE

The Agency is looking for an Accounts Assistant/Admin Support Person for their subsidiary company Gems Casting Ltd, who supplies Supporting Artists on TV and Film.

We are looking for someone who can take initiative, be self-motivated and work independently, a friendly, enthusiastic, communicative team member.

Daily tasks would include Administration, such as filing, answering phones when required, paying Supporting Artists and invoicing Productions for the supply of the Artists, and assisting in general aspects of bookkeeping.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS:

High attention to detail and level of accuracy
Strong organisation skills
Proficient in I.T., especially with Microsoft Excel
Strong written English
Good Mathematical literacy
Problem solving skills
Interest in working in finance
Confident in working on your own initiative with the ability to plan and prioritise your own workload
Work well as part of a team

DESIRABLE

Experience using Sage50 Accounts
Experience working in a financial or administrative role
Interest in working in TV/Film

Office Hours - 9:00-5:00 (TBC) but must be flexible.

Please note we have a dog who spends most of his day with us in the office unless he's out on his daily walks.

Pay:
From £11.50 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
