Protocol Education are recruiting Cover Supervisors to work in a Secondary School in the Tyne and Wear area. We have work available in schools across the Newcastle upon Tyne area.

We are looking for applicants who are confident communicating with children, can think on their feet and reshape and adjust to situations well.

You must be available a minimum of 3 days a week (part-time, in term time only) and you
must live in the Tyne and wear area in the United Kingdom.
The roles are entry level positions and no previous experience is required.

Many of our previous graduate cover supervisors have gone onto a successful career in teaching or furthered their studies in educational or forensic psychology and this has given them a key opportunity for paid experience.

The role:

Cover classes in the abscence of the teacher with preplanned work.
You will be expected to accompany and support children in all their lessons, including English and Maths.
Ensure safeguarding is met at all times

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
