Warehouse Operative
36 hours per week
AVEC is a leading supplier and distributor of professional hair & beauty products to wholesale customers across the UK, Ireland and Western Europe.
Warehouse Operative Position Overview;
- Accurate receipt, storage, picking and packing of stock; as well as arranging shipment of orders to customers; all using relevant systems and handheld terminal
- Maintaining inventory stock accuracy, including performing cycle counts and inventory auditing
- Operating equipment in the warehouse and following area procedures in a safe and efficient manner
- Previous experience of working in a similar role or environment preferred, but training will be provided in the event that this is not the case
- Ability to work quickly, accurately and efficiently often unsupervised
- Enthusiastic and positive "cando" attitude
- A teamplayer who will willingly assist others if required
Hours of Work:
Monday to Thursday 8:30am to 4:30pm (45 mins for lunch); Friday 8:30am to 4.00pm (30 mins for lunch)
Hourly Rate of Pay:
£10.90 per hour
