Job descriptionThe Marketing, Communication and Events Coordinator is a very important role at the Students' Union. This position helps us get the message out to students about what we do, and how we help them.
We're looking for someone keen to make an impact, proactive, keen to work with an incredibly diverse student community, and up for the challenge of helping to ensure that London Met Students' Union is making students' lives better.
- Promote and maximise usage of the Union's services through the development and implementation of marketing communications campaigns and initiatives.
- Lead the development and implementation of major union events such as our Welcome Week and Leaders Elections & provide a framework for other staff and officers of the union to run smaller scale events independently.
- Generate income for the Union by working closely with our media partners Native, as well as identifying low risk income generation opportunities for the Students' Union
- Generate insight about our members to inform our campaigning, services, and promotional opportunities as well as evidencing our impact
- Support Elected Officers and Student Representatives through provision of advice, guidance, support and training.
The union has a flexible working environment with an expectation that the staff member in this role would be working in person, on campus up to three days each week.
