Are you an experienced Procurement Officer looking for a new challenge?

Do you want to join a fast-paced environment and add value to the existing team by bringing in your extensive knowledge?

You will act as a category lead to the current officers, providing specialist advice, guidance and solutions on all aspects of procurement.

Key duties of the role to include:

To establish supply arrangements for common goods and services and to provide contractual arrangements through the procurement cycle, to ensure that goods and services are obtained at the optimum best value
To support business units in undertaking the procurement of medium value contracts and the delivery of high value, high risk, complex procurements
To lead where required in the daytoday management of contracts and services and to maintain and manage the Client's corporate contracts, maintaining appropriate records and statistics
To develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders to understand and help develop business requirements and resolve issues
To assist with the undertaking of analysis of spend, market and supplier trends and capabilities to ensure that procurement is based on best practice and intelligence to ensure costsaving and benefit in line with the new Procurement Strategy
To work with business units on the development and delivery of Meet the Buyer and Bidder Events and to lead on the procurement element of any such events
To ensure corporate policies and procedures are integrated into all procurement activity
To maintain standards of professional and ethical practice, both internally and externally companywide and ensure these practices are compliant with professional, procurement and organisational values

This role offers a full time working week,
Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.

You will have the option to work from home, the office, or a mixture of both, once your initial induction and training has been completed.
