Power BI Developer

London / Hybrid

£500 per day, 3-month contract (extension possible)
Power BI Developer to join a leading global provider of payment services. This is an exciting opportunity to join a company on a 3-month contract and support the development team.

Some of what you will be doing:

Working directly with key users within FP&A as an embedded member of the team
Developing and enhancing existing Power BI models for a global FP&A department
Migrating existing Power BI Desktop models to the newly implemented Power BI Service environment
Advising and assisting in the definition of robust ETL processes in support of FP&A requirements
Completing documentation and user training
Reporting directly to the Global Head of FP&A

Ideally, your skills and experience will include:

Deep knowledge of Power BI, Power Query, DAX, M
Experience providing and maintaining a selfservice business analytics platform (workspace setup, reports, datasets, RLS)
Ability to work directly with key users in rapidly developing and enhancing existing Power BI Desktop models
Exceptional English (spoken and written)
Experience using Power BI in an international financial services company preferred
Basic knowledge of IAS and/or US GAAP accounting principles is strongly preferred
Minimum 3 (three) years of handson experience building Power BI reports and dashboards
