Your Role and Responsibilities
As a Human Resource Advisor, you'll be at the forefront of providing high-quality HR services and expert advice to our clients.
You'll play a crucial role in managing employee relations cases, developing HR policies and procedures, conducting recruitment activities, and ensuring compliance with employment laws and best practices.
Here's a glimpse of what you'll be responsible for:-
Building Strong Relationships: Support small clients, ensuring their HR needs are met, and foster strong relationships with key stakeholders to provide expert guidance, coaching, and support across various HR activities.

Employee Relations Management: Handle diverse employee relations cases, including grievances, sickness, absence, performance, and disciplinary matters, ensuring professional resolution and maintaining compliance.

HR Operations: Manage operational HR activities for clients, including staffing reviews, restructures, redundancies, consultations, and investigations, ensuring adherence to policies and procedures.

Policy Development and Documentation: Proactively develop, review, and update company documents, such as contracts, agreements, policies, and employee handbooks, reflecting current legislation and best practice.

Pay and Rewards: Participate in pay benchmarking exercises, provide guidance on pay and rewards strategies, and assist in developing effective reward programmes.

Recruitment and Talent Management: Lead and support recruitment processes, collaborate with hiring managers to develop job descriptions and recruitment strategies, and contribute to talent management initiatives.

Team Management and Collaboration: Occasionally provide guidance to HR team members, foster a collaborative environment, and support the professional development of others.
What We're Looking For
To excel in this role, you'll need a combination of experience, skills and attributes.
Here are the key requirements:

Education & Qualification: Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field (desirable), along with a CIPD level 5 qualification or equivalent OR qualified by experience. Additional certifications in relevant fields are a plus.

Experience & Knowledge: Proven experience in HR roles, with a focus on employee relations and HR advisory. Strong knowledge of HR practices, including recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations, aligned with best practice and employment laws.

Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and a detail-oriented approach. You should be able to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and have good IT skills.

Attributes: Proactive, collaborative, and self-motivated, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability. Excellent organisational skills, discretion, flexibility, and a commitment to continuous learning in the HR field.
