My client is one of UK largest healthcare providers looking for an a Lead Account Manager with previous private healthcare market experience.


Responsibilities:


  • Manage day to day running of the Account Management Team and oversee a corporate client portfolio (GP, occupational health and joint clients) comprising newly onboarded business and existing clients (current portfolio c600+ clients with rapid expansion).Create a cross skilled Account Management function that supports OH, GP and combined services to the corporate client base.
  • Support Group Corporate Sales in the tender response sales process (new and existing) or run renewal tenders as appropriate.
  • In addition to managing the Account Management Team to deliver the set objectives, the Lead Account Manager will support their own portfolio and deputise for the Senior Leadership Team as required. In addition, for top tier (Gold Plan) clients, the LeadAccount Manager will be required to support members of the Sales Leadership Team (SLT) in client facing engagements.
  • Develop and embed process and principles to support delivery of account management function across the business. This will include improving existing policies as well as identifying areas to develop new processes to support the account management function.
Identify and support the training needs of Account Management Team in order to deliver against key objectives.

  • Support the Senior Leadership Team to design, develop and deliver key strategic initiatives as well as provide support in any ad hoc projects as needed.
Other Responsibilities

  • Scheduling & chairing client review meetings including new business and operations (and others) as appropriate.
  • Client renewals and tenders, including contracting, ensuring pricing and renewal terms are communicated correctly/responses dealt with accordingly
  • Support Corporate Sales in the tender response sales process (new/existing) or run renewal tenders as appropriate.
  • Liaison with relevant stakeholders to ensure renewing business is profitable/supported by suitable up to date contracts
  • Manage and develop key Corporate Client relationships and Partnerships directly, including cross and up selling

Requirements:


  • Educated to degree level
  • Knowledge and understanding of the private healthcare market essential
  • Knowledge and understanding of occupational health or demonstrable equivalent / ability to learn quickly essential
  • Minimum 35 years' experience in similar management role.
