MVA is an award-winning online independent school for students aged Founded in December 2020, we have become the fastest-growing independent school in the UK and have won multiple awards including the National Business Award for Best Business in the UK with under 50 Staff in 2022.

The aim of teaching young people about physical health and mental wellbeing, relationships and living in the wider world is so they have the information they need to make decisions that serve them and those around them well.

It enables them to recognise what is common shared experience and what may be an issue in themselves and others and, when such issues arise, know how to seek support as early as possible from appropriate sources.

We promote students' self-control and ability to self-regulate, and strategies for doing so.

This enables them to become confident in their ability to achieve well and persevere even when they encounter setbacks or when their goals are distant, and to respond calmly and rationally to hurdles and challenges.

It's important to reduce the stigma attached to health issues, in particular those to do with mental wellbeing.

We engender an atmosphere that encourages openness so that students can seek any necessary help and advice necessary as they gain knowledge about how to promote good health and well-being.

At MVA we envision a future where all young minds are supported and empowered, whatever the challenges.

We work with students to help ensure them get the best possible support in work and life, and have the resilience to overcome life's difficulties.

The Careers Lead will take lead responsibility and accountability for the delivery of MVA's programme of careers advice and guidance.
