The role will require meeting changing business and industry requirements to continually improve our pricing methodology, deliver new products, and meet our strategic objectives.

Maintaining the balance between risk management and identifying growth opportunitiesis key to success in this role.

Here's a taste of what you'll be doing as the Lead Pricing Analyst

Management of pricing systems, including implementing methodology changes, and maintaining a great relationship with third-party system providers.

- Leading on the analysis and forecasting of non-commodity costs, understanding the differences between forecasts and outturn, and making methodology changes as required.

- Utilising price position data to assess competitiveness against other business energy tariffs, including making price change recommendations to meet our margin and growth ambitions.

- Lead on operational pricing activity to ensure that bespoke pricing requests are costed correctly and issued in line with internal governance.

- Performing portfolio-level change analysis to model the impact of upcoming industry changes on our gross margin.

- Conducting price position and gross margin analysis for all non-contract prices, whilst making recommendations for price changes to management.

- Supporting internal teams with any pricing related queries, including providing regular commentary on drivers for price changes. - Maintenance of all cost stack data, ensuring that pricing systems are kept up to date and pricing accurately.

- Liaising with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure that quoting systems, pricebooks and market exposure are managed effectively.

We are looking for the following to be successful as the Lead Pricing Analyst

Good numerical and analytical skills; an understanding of statistical modelling would be advantageous - Experience of electricity and gas non-commodity costs would be advantageous - Strong verbal and written communication skills - Excellent stakeholder management skills - Strong computer proficiency - Self-motivated with an ability to work independently
