Financial Accountant with D365 implementation experience - Leicester

Reporting to - Group Finance Director

Our client is a successful expanding SME business, seeking to recruit an Accontant with excellent Dynamics 365implementation experience

  • Assist on transitioning chart of accounts, nominal ledger, sales ledger and purchase ledger from Sage to D365
  • Experience of working with cost center/dimensions on D365 and provide training to appropriate employees
  • Experience of performing checks and balances between old system Sage and new system D365
  • Preparing costing/WO margin from D36- Assist sales and purchase ledger teams based in the UK and overseas in transitioning to the new system
  • Control account reconciliations in D36 especially sales/purchase/VAT
  • Understanding of reports to drill down nominal ledger by dimensions and train the current team with P&L analysis
  • Prepare and submit VAT control account on D365
  • Full understanding of raising sales/purchase orders in D365
  • Assist credit control teams in the UK/abroad on training payment allocations, DR/CR note processes
  • Prepare journal templates on D36- recurring, reversing, one offs
  • Prepare and maintain fixed asset register on D365 and automate journals such as depreciation journals
  • Be able to train team on posting cash and perform bank reconciliations on D36- Inventory controls - understand inventory control on D365, train the appropriate members in the team for stock/wip accounting during month end
  • General ledger, incl. journal preparation & posting
  • Assist with completion of monthend on D36
  • Prepare SOP for each of the function on D365
The Right Person

  • Part qualified/Qualified with experience of operating/working on D36
  • Ideally be part of the implementation team from start to end and someone who has continued to work in the finance team
  • Project management skills and reporting progress on a weekly basis
  • Excellent planning, organisation skills and adherence to tight deadline,
  • Strong IT skills incl. Microsoft Excel (pivot charts / tables, macros, data models), Sage, Xero and, MS Dynamics 365 (ERP).
