The opportunity:


As a Client Service Manager, you will be responsible for managing, building, and nurturing relationships with existing and new clients whilst also ensuring the quality of work being carried out for each client is of a high-class standard.


At its foundation, the role of Client Service Manager will have varied disciplines for a portfolio of clients, reviewing of annual accounts, as well as responsibilities around supervising and mentoring more junior team members to meet the client's needs.

The role also entails involvement with both practice and workflow management for the wider team.


Key tasks include:


  • Reviewing of annual accounts, accounts preparation, bookkeeping, VAT returns.
  • Building, nurturing, and managing the relationships of new and existing clients.
  • Initiate, develop, and maintain relationships with business owners and decision makers of which are clients.
  • Provide regular business advice and support to clients.
  • Elements of client onboarding including meetings, documentation, and understanding potential new client's business.
  • Reporting to and working closely with both Client Service Directors and Service Line Heads.

What are we looking for in a member of the team?

  • ACCA/ACA qualified
  • 7 years of experience working in Accountancy in practice
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to confidently work alone but also be a team player
  • Be confident in advising clients
  • Ability to analyse client data and understand their businesses to ensure they are receiving the required level of support from all service lines.
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Ability to work under pressure, to deadlines, and respond promptly to requests.
