Demon Recruitment Group is currently recruiting for an experienced Inventory Manager for a leading company in Feltham.Role Intro
This is a challenging and rewarding role for an ambitious Inventory Manager looking to join a fast-growing business and use all your experience in delivering real results in a challenging environment.
To be successful in this role you will need extensive experience, 5 years min in dealing with a vast stock inventory thousands of items.
The role carries responsibility for working with purchasing, goods inwards and dispatch to ensure necessary functions are carried out correctly.
You must have strong analytical skills with a core focus on forecasting and supply chain efficiencies.
Key Responsibilities
- Reduce aged stock to mínimal levels.
- Devise ways to optimize inventory control procedures.
- Research and reconcile stock discrepancies.
- Develop a deep understanding of our internal platforms and the integration between those and our operational partners.
- Analyse and interpret reports and stock allocation information.
- Analyse, investigate and reconcile stock losses, gains and movements.
- Develop continuous improvement plans and longerterm strategic requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to work with large quantities of statistical data and convert it into understandable results.
- Being the primary contact for all Inventory related accuracies, directly and indirectly via all forms of communication.
- Working closely with our Finance team to share data, track trends, and develop continuous improvement initiatives.
- Communicate and liaising with other departments to ensure a smooth & effective customer experience.
Key Skills:
- Experience of working with a WMS is desirable.
- Must have the ability to create detailed analysis to identify the root cause and corrective action
- Be required to facilitate, coach, and motivate crossfunction teams to achieve stock management objectives
- Build strong working relationships with all key stakeholders to ensure first class operational delivery in all operational areas, with a focus on stock integrity and accuracy
- Critical thinking skills, being able to analyse datasets and establish conclusions that allow the right decisions to be made.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and able to communicate at all levels.
- Strong attention to detail
- Outstanding analytical, problem solving and organisational abilities.
- Supplier management particularly 3PL relationships/account management.
- Operational experience either working within, or as a partner to a Logistics provider.
- Have strong interpersonal and communication skills, to build and maintain relationships.
- Highly organized who can manage time effectively to meet given deadlines.
- An ability to work in a fastpaced team environment.
- Experience of automated environments.
- Has worked in a similar fast paced high growth business environment.
- Ability to track and understand stock movement data endtoend through various systems, including WMS, ERP, and bespoke purchasing tools
