Masterstaff are actively recruiting for an experienced Sales Assistant to join a busy distribution company. This position is proactively using the telephone selling, not face to face selling.

This position is to support the Customer Services and Marketing Team, also to provide assistance to the Sales & Operations Manager.

An Immediate start is available. We are looking for a highly motivated person with at least 1 years' experience working in a Sales/Admin role.

This role will be ideal for someone who has a lot of confidence in a Sales and has worked in a Sales Environment before and is very happy to 'just pick up the phone' and get on with it.

This is a Full Time - Permanent position.

Salary offered - £18K - £22K

Location - Lancaster LA1


Duties include:

  • Making calls proactively to prospected clients/customers on a daily basis
  • Receiving calls answering any queries, problems and resolving customer issues
  • Conducting Market Research, whilst working with other members of the team
  • Work with other members of the team to develop targeted sales strategies.
  • General Administrative duties

Person Spec:

  • Ability to work individually or as part of a team
  • 1 years' experience in a Sales role
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Great attention to detail
  • Good computer skills to include Word/Excel/PowerPoint
  • Ability to work off own initiative.
  • Ability to research and develop markets

Job Types:

Salary:
£18,000.00-£22,000.00 per year
