We have an exciting opportunity for an efficient and organised Admin to join the purchasing team of our client, a family-run construction company based in Wembley.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Assist in preparing and organising documentation for preconstruction activities.
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure all necessary paperwork is completed accurately and on time.
  • Maintain a systematic recordkeeping system for preconstruction documents and correspondence.
  • Source and negotiate with suppliers to secure the best deals on materials and equipment required for projects.
  • Coordinate with the construction team to understand project needs and ensure timely procurement to meet project timelines.
  • Manage and complete PQQs for potential clients and project tenders.
  • Assist with daytoday administrative tasks, including data entry, filing, and correspondence.
  • Provide administrative support to various departments as needed.

Qualifications and Experience:


  • Proven experience in general administration roles is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with the construction industry, especially Civil Engineering and Groundworks, will be an advantage.
  • Knowledge of preconstruction processes and procedures is a plus.
  • Experience with Sage Construction, Eque2, or any other estimating software will be advantageous but not essential.
  • Strong organisational and timemanagement skills are essential to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with internal teams and external suppliers.
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in documentation and data entry.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
