Driver Hire is recruiting for a Cat B Van Driver to join the team of a friendly, busy, commercial butcher in Godalming.
Deliveries are made to pubs, hotels, restaurants and holiday parks in a refrigerated transit-sized van. Previous delivery experience is preferred.
Plenty of hand-balling so you will need to be physically fit but you do get to use a trolley.
Benefits, Hours and Salary of the Cat B Driver
- Pay £10.00 per hour
- Monday to Saturday
- 7am start
- 28 days paid holiday
- Take the van home
Responsibilities of the Cat B Van Driver
- Carry out daily vehicle walk round checks
- Ensure load is safely secured
- Assist with planning your route for the day
- Ensure all paperwork is correctly completed on each drop
- Be Health and Safety Focused in all aspects of the role
- Possess the flexibility to "go the extra mile" and have a full commitment to providing excellent customer service
- Use initiative and have an organised approach to your role and workload
- Physically fit as lifting / handballing will be required
Requirements of the Cat B Van Driver
- UK driving licence
- Have delivery experience
- Verifiable references
