What will you be doing?


A new opportunity has arisen to play a key role within the Radio Performance and Design team formulating and driving various network processes, procedures and standards to deliver the best possible network experience for our customers; being accountablefor the Acceptance standard and its governance.

You will work closely with various engineering teams to drive process efficiency, performance improvements and consistency across the network.

You will be responsible for defining and documenting various Vodafone UK network processes, procedures and standards. Driving cross-area, cross-vendor harmonisation, ensuring best practice is followed.

Accountable for Acceptance standard (new site, tech-add) and its governance. Collaborate with our Area and Tech Ops teams on a daily basis to drive acceptance process efficiency and improvements.

Tool transformation and automation (e.g. Acceptance module in Unison)

Maintain and shape our RAN & KPI designs, capabilities and guidelines. Drive their consistency across the network while working closely with our internal teams and RAN sharing partner.


Who are we looking for?

  • Strong knowledge of radio access technologies (2G,3G,4G,5G) its deployment, acceptance, performance assessment and optimisation, with experience of the following RAN vendors
  • Ericsson, Huawei & OpenRAN preferable
  • Experience with defining and documenting processes and standards.
  • Experience of working crossfunctionally and driving collaboration between teams and functions to deliver end goals.
  • Highly analytical with excellent communication skills able to communicate confidently and effectively; able to explain complex concepts in a way that is easy to understand.
