Description

The pathologists all undertake subspecialist areas of reporting and there is flexibility to accommodate the incumbent of this replacement post in a number, of sub-specialist areas by mutual agreement, depending on the individual's interests and departmental needs.

Renal biopsies, lymphoma, sarcoma, and medical liver biopsies are reported by a limited number of pathologists.

There is currently sub-specialist reporting of most other areas including breast, upper and lower gastrointestinal, urological, thoracic, sarcoma, head & neck, gynae and hepato-pancreatico-biliary resection specimens.
