Employability Trainer

Daily pay rates:
£ £225.00 per day

Purpose of position:
To support learners to complete their training by providing a high quality, enjoyable learning experience.

The training is a 3 day intense programme aimed at supporting the learners to refocus and build an effective action plan that improves employability and helps to identify and secure suitable employment opportunities.

Key areas of responsibility:

Training, supporting, and assessing learners as they search for employment
Helping to facilitate group sessions that help learners to build an effective action plan that progresses them towards employment
Effective communication, empathy and methods that engage learners effectively
Progressing learners towards employment.
Inspire, motivate and raise aspirations through your enthusiasm and knowledge to develop skills and support achievement
Foster and maintain a positive working relationship in which learners feel safe, valued, empowered and respected
Value and promote social and cultural diversity and equality of opportunity

Ensure good learner understanding of the programme structure and desired outcomes

Identify learner objectives, motivation and any requirements relevant to the training and then plan delivery to achieve high levels of completion
Review and recognise previous learning and achievements, evaluating these against relevant objectives and requirements
Ensure accurate and timely information and advice is given, throughout the programme, to learners and about:
The most suitable learning aims and employment options
Additional learning and development opportunities
Plan and facilitate the learning and training using a variety of strategies and resources, including technology, to motivate, challenge
Agree and prioritise training and learning needs and develop an individual learning plan with targets and dates for achievement
Assess learner progress regularly (formative as well as summative), giving frequent, constructive and encouraging verbal feedback
Maintain required records of the assessment process, outcomes and learner progress, ensuring awarding organisation standards are fully met
Ensure correct administration of the programme, in line with current procedures
