Sanderson are partnering with a market leading global manufacturer, who are looking for a Business Development Manager to join them on a permanent basis.
As a Business Development Manager, your role will be to focus on the growth of the company's profitabilityand share of the new build house builder market through systems selling and actively monitoring the adherence to the systems specification on sites.
Responsibilities include:
- Profitably grow sales and share of wallet opportunity with house builder customers
- Create lasting relationships with technical and commercial decision makers, being the goto person when they have any roofing requirements.
- Site compliant monitoring, reporting and attending prestart meetings to improving the fittings and component to tiles ratio
- Educate site managers on roofing products and roofing standards such as BS5534 and BS8612 so that they can improve their awareness and identify where nonconformance occurs
- To act on and resolve issues which may occur through manufacture defects or supply demand
Skills and Experience Required:
- Experience working with house builders
- Experience in the same or similar role within the roofing or construction industries
- Good understanding of manufacturing processes that contribute towards product quality
- Excellent communication, negotiation and influencing skills
- Excellent presentation skills
- IT Literate with experience of Google Suite an advantage
