Jackson Hogg are delighted to be working with an exciting business in Gateshead on the appointment of a Payroll Administrator/Key Objectives:
- Processing Payroll for Weekly paid employees
- Validation of Tax, NI, SSP,SMP,SPP and SMP calculations
- Checking net pay calculations before payment processing deadlines
- Processing starters, leavers and salary changes including calculation of arrears and leaving entitlements
- Completion of delegated payroll yearend duties
- Resolving payroll queries from employees in a professional and timely manner
- Provide reporting to internal departments and depots and resolve queries
Qualifications and Experience:
- Previous experience working in a payroll team
- Highly numerate
- Experience of working in highpressure environment with tight deadlines
- Strong system skills, including Excel
- Experience of erp software
Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent
Salary:
£25,000.00-£26,000.00 per year
