Jackson Hogg are delighted to be working with an exciting business in Gateshead on the appointment of a Payroll Administrator/


Key Objectives:


  • Processing Payroll for Weekly paid employees
  • Validation of Tax, NI, SSP,SMP,SPP and SMP calculations
  • Checking net pay calculations before payment processing deadlines
  • Processing starters, leavers and salary changes including calculation of arrears and leaving entitlements
  • Completion of delegated payroll yearend duties
  • Resolving payroll queries from employees in a professional and timely manner
  • Provide reporting to internal departments and depots and resolve queries

Qualifications and Experience:


  • Previous experience working in a payroll team
  • Highly numerate
  • Experience of working in highpressure environment with tight deadlines
  • Strong system skills, including Excel
  • Experience of erp software

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
£25,000.00-£26,000.00 per year
