Description
We are recruiting an experienced administrator to work at our social centre in Pontefract to provide a comprehensive administrative support for the Centre.
This role has a wide range of duties which include dealing with service users both in person and telephone enquiries, maintaining systems, records and processes to a high standard to facilitate the efficient running of services.
This role will support and maintain accurate administrative systems within the Centre including recording and monitoring of activity, payments (inc. cash handling) from clients, dealing with client referrals from individuals for the Centre or the organisations personal welfare service and will also help to prepare paperwork to support client enquiries and home visits.
Experience in a busy office environment is essential along with excellent IT skills, strong organisational and time management skills and excellent communication skills.
You will be dealing with members of the Centre in person and over the phone so a good understanding of confidentiality and ability to deal with sensitive issues is essential and experience of working in social care or a charity would be advantageous.
A good standard of general education is needed along with basic office skills as this role will form part of the established administrative team within the office.

Part-time hours: 22 per week

From £13,827.00 per year
