An exciting opportunity has arisen for the appointment of a Business Support Officer, within the NY Highways Business Support Team based at Area 1 Highways Depot, Brompton-on-Swale.


The successful applicant will join a team of administrators who provide business support services to NY Highways, NYC's formed highways maintenance company, which has been established to provide highway services to the council.


We require motivated administrators with good communication, you must be able to prioritise your workload, therefore good organisational skills; accuracy and attention to detail are important, as well as the ability to work unsupervised.


What you will bring
To be successful you must have good keyboard skills and experience in word, excel, databases and Outlook.

You must also have good literacy and numeracy skills, be able to prioritise your own workload, be conscientious, well-organised, have the ability to work unsupervised and be flexible in your approach.

Ideally, the successful applicant has some experience of working in a Highways environment.

The role is based at Brompton-on-Swale Highways Depot with home working an option where appropriate and will be required to travel to other depots/offices has part of the role.
