The Company:

  • Able to provide hardware, software and outsourced services.
  • Currently looking to strengthen an onsite team with the recruitment of a high calibre, Asset Manager.

The Role of the Asset Manager

  • Crucially, source components in the grey market in order to get machines up and running as quickly as possible.
  • Develop clear working Standard Operating Procedures detailing process flow and operational requirements for daytoday activities in support of the maintenance and repair operations.
  • Providing a single point of contact for maintenance repairs and asset tracking.
  • Inventory management; the daytoday running of consignment stock and its reorganisation in partnership with the customer.
  • Reducing MRO stock duplication and obsolescence.
  • Providing migration, rationalisation, and standardisation strategies to drive down MRO inventory asset value.
  • Supporting productivity improvements through timely delivery of parts and solutions to the maintenance/engineering teams, whilst providing an overall lower total cost of ownership.

The Ideal Person for the Asset Manager

  • Engineering qualification.
  • Robust individual who is able to push back when required.
  • Knowledge of MRO / Industrial Consumables.
  • Ex-Forces / REME / Navy / Air Force would make a good fit.
  • Disciplined and able to manage multiple projects under pressure.
