    The Company

    An opportunity has arisen to work within a growing Marketing Team of a well-established manufacturing company. Grangers International Ltd, based in Chesterfield Derbyshire and established in 1937, is the owner of market-leading aftercare brands; Grangers, Fabsil and Cherry Blossom.

    The Role:

    Reporting into the Director of Marketing and Communications, this is the role for someone loyal, passionate, and looking to make an impact. The ideal candidate will be able to support to develop ongoing efforts to expand the three in-house brands' digital and social media presence – always looking for ways to develop brand awareness positively and proactively across social platforms and wider marketing initiatives including events.

    • Full-time
    • Occasional weekend/evening work may be required for attendance at trade or consumer shows.
    • Opportunity to develop skills base through funded courses and training software.
    • Salary: Negotiable and dependent upon experience.

    Key Areas of Responsibility:

    • Create engaging, inspiring content across all platforms for all three brands.
    • Create growth strategies – increasing followers and brand awareness.
    • Schedule posts, working with the wider team to create monthly content plans, hitting all key messaging and focuses.
    • Write compelling copy, with the support of Director of Marketing and Communications and Marketing Executive.
    • Research new trends, ensuring content is relevant.
    • Review statistics, creating strategies based upon these figures.
    • Be reactive as well as proactive, tweaking content depending on market trends and weather conditions.
    • Create different content for each platform, tweaking for the relevant audiences and ensuring that the messages and tone of voice are always on-brand.
    • Monitor the channels' performance against agreed KPIs.
    • Work with our Visual Content Creator to produce fresh and relevant content for our digital channels.
    • Manage communications with followers/fans with the help of the wider Marketing team.
    • Respond to and engage with online communities to positively build brand reputation.
    • Look at industry news, and qualitative and quantitative data (social media, web analytics, rankings etc.) to identify new opportunities and trends reporting back on where these can add value or create impact.
    • Manage our social media calendar effectively with the input and support of the wider Marketing team.
    • Confidently present ideas at monthly Marketing meetings for social activities and wider team initiatives such as events.
    • Analyse campaign effectiveness and recreate successful multi-channel campaigns, as required.
    • Manage paid/targeted advertising.
    • Drive organic growth alongside paid for advertising.
    • Successfully launch new products, creating demand.
    • Work with our E-commerce Manager to drive traffic to and positively impact sales across our websites.
    • Work with our brand ambassadors, looking for new athletes/ambassadors for each brand.
    • Work with the Marketing Executive, seeding product to existing ambassadors and influencers.
    • Monitor competitor activity and analytics.

    The ideal candidate will:

    • Display proven experience of driving organic growth.
    • Be confident producing visual content and willing to adapt a writing style in line with brand guidelines and to suit different audiences.
    • Be confident in creating digital eye-catching visual content and be proficient in using Photoshop and other design platforms such as Canva
    • Demonstrate strong attention to detail.
    • Be well-organised, creating content in advance ensuring regular posting for all three brands.
    • Be competent with using scheduling tools such as SocialBee and Trello.
    • Be creative and motivated.
    • Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Manage time effectively, willing to work to tight deadlines when necessary.
    • Have an ability to work cross-functionally across relevant teams.
    • Be willing to adapt a tone of voice to mirror that of the brands.
    • Demonstrate flexibility and a willingness to accept feedback and guidance.
    • Confidently and respectfully communicate with customers and followers.
    • Demonstrate a 'can do' attitude and be a team player, proactive, positive and enthusiastic.

    Requirements:

    • Full UK Driving licence
    • Have evidence of at least one years' experience in a social media role.
    • A working knowledge of photoshop, Canva and scheduling tools or a willingness to develop in these areas.
