Description

An exciting and varied position has arisen for an Marine Operations Supervisor on a rolling contract intially. The Marine Operations Supervisor role reports to the Operations Manager - Marine.

It provides the key interface between the client's onshore delivery team, offshore installations, chartered vessels and Peterson's shore based teams, ensuring the Logistics operation is delivered in a safe, efficient and cost effective manner with full consideration given to the on-time delivery of materials/bulks to/from offshore, agreeing and monitoring the vessel turnaround ETD for KPI measurement.

Professional Expirence

Previous experience in the marine logistics arena is essential Familiarity of the workings at a Shore Base with associated services

Knowledge of relevant industry regulations, codes and standards for UKCS

Operating knowledge of health and safety regulations and safe working practices Highly numeric with a strong attention to detail and excellent planning and organising skills

Computer literate with well-developed IT skills across the Microsoft suite

Comfortable conversing with the onshore delivery team, offshore installations, chartered vessels and shore based teams

Open to embracing change and continual improvement.
