Description
An exiting opportunity has arisen to join the London Regional Maternity Team as Quality and Safety Lead Midwife.

We are looking for a credible, knowledgeable, dynamic, and innovative midwife with excellent communication and interpersonal skills to support the Regional Chief Midwife in building and sustaining safe, high quality maternity care across London's maternity services.

You will be joining a determined, compassionate, and happy team, working together to improve maternity care for patients and staff across the capital.


The post holder will provide senior specialist midwifery direction and will lead on related activities in relation to their specific portfolio - which will include areas on patient safety, quality improvement, digital improvement and using data to improve safety.

The role will play a crucial role in providing clinical advice and support to both providers of maternity services and Local Maternity and Neonatal System Leads within the Integrated Care Boards.

Colleagues with a contractual office base are expected to spend, on average, at least 40% of their time working in-person.
